Jordan Crawford goes off for 72 points in Chinese League game

Jordan Crawford, he of Hawks/Wizards/Celtics/Warriors fame, is playing in China these days for Tianjin Ronggang. Never shy when it came to shooting the ball, the 6-foot-4 guard was averaging 39.7 ppg with 29.5 field goals per game through 17 contests, according to RealGM.

He got even more buckets than usual in his 18th game of the season against the Sichuan Blue Whales and finished with a whopping 72 points… and a 104-113 loss.

By the way, Crawford doesn’t want you to forget about his rebounds in the game. He got quite a few too.

Big scoring outbursts by American players are not uncommon in the Chinese League. Errick McMcollum, brother of Blazers guard CJ McCollum, scored 82 points in a CBA game last season.
