Jamal Crawford did it again Friday night with a three-point dagger to win the game for the Clippers in Utah. It was an unexpected victory for a team that gave the night off to Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. Those three didn’t take the night off on Twitter, though, and endorsed Crawford for the Sixth Man of the Year Award after the game.
Crawford already received the award in 2010 and 2014. No player has won it three times and the 6-foot-5 guard, who’s averaging 14.1 ppg and 2.3 apg, has a realistic shot at becoming the first one to accomplish it.
