The New Orleans Hornets will sign free agent forward Solomon Jones to a 10-day contract Wednesday, one source told HoopsHype. "He's meeting the team in Milwaukee tonight and will sign the contract tomorrow morning," the source said.

The 6-foot-10 Jones, who was waived by the Los Angeles Clippers last week, has career averages of 3.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 0.6 bpg.
