The contract would be for a year, but the issue of the out clause remains an obstacle, Luchey says. Chandler, who finished last season with the Denver Nuggets, is also considering a deal in Italy, according to his agent.

Chandler should be one of the most coveted free agents in the NBA at the small forward position once the lockout comes to an end. His career averages are 13.9 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
