So the three teams got together and reached an agreement on a three-team, six-player trade on Monday that will send guards J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the Knicks to the Cavaliers, and guard Dion Waiters will go from Cleveland to Oklahoma City. As part of the deal, Cleveland will trade forward Lou Amundson and center Alex Kirk to New York, and the Thunder will send forward Lance Thomas to the Knicks. Cleveland also receives a protected first-round pick from Oklahoma City, and the Knicks will acquire a second-round pick from the Cavaliers.
New York Knickerbockers President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has acquired forward Lou Amundson, center Alex Kirk and a 2019 second-round draft choice from Cleveland and forward Lance Thomas from Oklahoma City as part of a three-team trade. Guards Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith were sent from New York to Cleveland and guard Dion Waiters from Cleveland to Oklahoma City. Oklahoma City also sent Cleveland a future first-round draft choice. In addition, center Samuel Dalembert has been waived.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired guards Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith from the New York Knicks and a protected 2015 first round pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder. In exchange, the Cavs will send guard Dion Waiters to the Thunder, and Lou Amundson, Alex Kirk and its own 2019 second round pick to the Knicks. New York will also receive forward Lance Thomas from Oklahoma City.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned center Alex Kirk to the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts. Kirk has played in four games (all starts) for the Charge this season with averages of 21.8 points on .493 shooting, 8.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 37.0 minutes per game. He has appeared in three games for the Cavs this season.
