Artem Klimenko RumorsAll NBA Players
Artem Klimenko plans to play next season in Russia with BC Avtodor Saratov, and the undrafted seven-footer has become comfortable with continuing to cultivate a relationship with his most interested NBA suitor in the Dallas Mavericks, league sources told RealGM. Ever since Klimenko went unselected in the June NBA draft, the Mavericks have pursued an arrangement to monitor the 20-year-old’s development in Russia over the next season or two.
#Nets officially announce two workouts this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here’s the list: Tuesday: Langston Hall, Branden Frazier, Cameron Clark, Kyle Casey, Akil Mitchell, Cory Jefferson, Artem Klimenko; Wednesday: Semaj Christon, Xavier Thames, CJ Fair, James McAdoo, Johnny O’Bryant, Ronald Roberts.
Shams Charania: Russian center Artem Klimenko has decided to stay in NBA Draft, sources tell RealGM, and works out for Thunder Monday. Stash option for OKC.
The Suns began a busy week of predraft workouts Tuesday at US Airways Center with a group of players who probably aren’t going to hear their names called during the first round of the June 26 draft. The Suns have three picks in the first round, at 14, 18 and 27. And they also have a second-round pick, which is the 50th overall selection. Michigan State point guard Keith Appling is probably the most recognizable name among the players who worked out Tuesday, and center Artem Klimenko might be the most intriguing player of the six.
