The Chicago Bulls waived forward Chris Richard on Wednesday, trimming the roster down to 16. Richard, 25, played in 18 games last season with the Bulls and averaged 2.1 points a game and 3.3 rebounds. He was drafted in the second round of the 2007 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves after playing at Florida with the Bulls’ Joakim Noah.

The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has waived forwards Rob Kurz and Chris Richard. Kurz (6-9, 230), 25, signed with the Bulls as a free agent on April 9, 2010. He did not make an appearance in a Bulls uniform during his time with the team.
