Now that the Las Vegas and Orlando Summer Leagues have concluded, CJ Aiken has decided to remain with the Kings for the short term. “They called my agent last week and said that they would like to sign me up until mini-camp and things like that,” he said. “We’ll see where it goes from there.” He will rejoin the Kings in Sacramento, CA. on September 1. “I think it’s going to be a good experience no matter what happens,” he said. “Just trying to have fun and learn things.”
Former Saint Joseph’s Hawk C.J. Aiken and La Salle Explorer Ramon Galloway will both be playing in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League, separately sources told CSNPhilly.com on Friday. Aiken will play with the Sacramento Kings and Galloway will play for the Denver Nuggets.

The 76ers have scheduled a workout with former St. Joseph’s forward C.J. Aiken on June 24, according to his agent.
The 6-foot-9, bulked-up 216-pounder has already worked out for the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, and the Washington Wizards. Aiken, who applied for the June 27 NBA draft after his junior campaign, is also scheduled to work out for the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.
