David Stockton RumorsAll NBA Players
Two recent NBA cuts may continue their careers in Europe. David Stockton and Scottie Wilbekin are considering offers from Europe, a source told Sportando. Stockton was waived by the Kings during the pre-season, while Wilbekin was waived by the Sixers. Stockton has received an offer from Germany, while the market for Wilbekin looks bigger with at least an offer from Serbia.
Sources have confirmed to CSNBayArea.com that David Stockton will not return to Reno, although a door remains slightly open. The son of NBA legend John Stockton, David averaged 20.1 points and 9.4 assists per game for Reno a season ago. His stellar play earned him multiple call-ups to the Kings, but with three point guards on a maxed out 15 man roster, his potential for another run in Sacramento is a long shot.
Stockton will explore other options internationally, but if he decides to return to the D-League, the Bighorns would welcome him back with open arms.
The Sacramento Kings announced today they have waived guard David Stockton, according to Kings Vice President and General Manager Vlade Divac. The Kings roster stands at 15. Stockton totaled four points (1-7 FG, 0-1 3pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 16 minutes off the bench in three preseason contests with the Kings.
