DJ Stephens Rumors

All NBA Players

Stephens, who was not selected in the 2013 NBA Draft but played in Greece last season, is a longshot to make the roster. But Coach Monty Williams said Stephens might be the best athlete in the NBA. “I have not seen anybody jump that high,” Williams said. ”He’s a once in a generation athlete. He can almost touch the top of the backboard. That’s how high he can jump.”
Dunkin’ Doug Anderson got his first NBA workout Thursday morning, and it happened to be with the Detroit Pistons. The 6-foot-6 Detroit Mercy small forward and Kalamazoo native is trying to catch the attention of teams with the athleticism and leaping ability that made him an ESPN sensation. Doug Anderson went against the likes of Solomon Hill of Arizona, Brandon Paul of Illinois, D.J. Stephens of Memphis, Loren Clyburn of Iowa State and Carick Felix of Arizona State at the Pistons workout.
