Selected by the Detroit Pistons as 11th overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft.
Played in Detroit till 1995-96.
Signed with the New York Knicks in 1996-97.
Announced his retirement in October 2005.
Became an NBA analyst for ESPN in 2006.
Returned to the the New York Knicks in October 2007. Waived later that month.
Returned to the the New York Knicks again in September 2008. Waived in October.
Named assistant to the president by the New York Knicks in November 2008.
Led Ballard HS to the Kentucky state title in 1988.
Named to the USA Today All-USA 1st Team in 1989.
Selected to the
Sporting News All-America 2nd Team in 1993.
All-time leading scorer at Tennessee.

Selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2000 and 2001.
Won the gold medal at the Tournament of Americas with the US Team in 1999.
Won the gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games with the US Team.
Led the NBA in free-throw shooting percentage in 2002-03.
Son of former Tennessee head coach Wade Houston.
