Grew up in Spartak St. Petersburg (Russia).
Moved to CSKA Moscow (Russia) in 1998-99. Played there until 2000-01.
Selected by the Utah Jazz as the 24th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft.
Signed with the Utah Jazz in 2001-02.
Named MVP of the European Junior Championship in 1997.
MVP and second top scorer at the 1999 World Junior Championship.
Played the 1999-00 Russian All-Star Game and the 1999 FIBA Eurostars game.
