Makes a good job at getting the position down low and has nice post moves already... Excellent rebounding skills... Superb work ethic... Defense needs work... Must get a more consistent mid-range jumper.
Attended the Oklahoma Christian School.
Played college ball at Oklahoma from 2007 and 2009.
Selected by the Los Angeles Clippers as 1st overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. Signed with the team in July.
Led the Oklahoma Christian School to four Oklahoma state titles.
Played the McDonald's All-America Game in 2007. Won the Slam Dunk contest.
Named to the Big 12 All-Rookie Team in 2008.
Named to the All-Big 12 1st Team in 2008 and 2009.
Named Big 12 Player of the Year in 2009.
Named National Player of the Year in 2009. Also won the Naismith and Wooden awards.
Led the NCAA in rebounds in 2009.
Named MVP of the Vegas Summer League in 2009.
Brother Taylor was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the 2009 NBA Draft.
