Played college ball at Central Michigan until 1988.
Selected by the Phoenix Suns as 14th overall pick in the 1988 NBA Draft.
Played in Phoenix until 1994-95.
Traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1995-96.
Signed with the Miami Heat in 1996-97. Played there till 2000-01.
Went back to the Phoenix Suns in 2001-02. Announced his retirement at the end of the season.
Named assistant coach by the Phoenix Suns in June 2008.
Named USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year in 1988.
Won the 1994 World Championships with the US Team. Bronze medal in the 1988 Olympic Games.
3 times selected to the NBA All-Star Game.
2 times selected to the NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team.
Led the NBA in three-pointers made and attempted in 1994-95.
Holds the record for most three-pointers made in an NBA Finals series with 17.
Inducted to the Phoenix Suns' Ring of Honor in 2003.
Won the Shooting Stars contest with Shawn Marion and Becky Hammon at the 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend.
