  Very long and athletic... Great shot blocker... Had range up to three-point land... Attitude was often a concern... Had a lot of baggage... An underachiever... Wasted a lot of talent... Did not have the chance to redeem himself in the NBA.
Attended Roman Catholic HS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Played college ball at Seton Hall until 2001.
Selected by the New Jersey Nets as 7th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft. Draft rights traded to the Houston Rockets.
Played in Houston till December 2003, when he was waived.
Signed with the New Jersey Nets in January 2004. Waived in February.
Signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves in October 2004. Waived in March 2007.
Died in a car accident in August 2007.
Led the Roman Catholic HS to the Philadelphia Catholic League title in 1999 and 2000.
Named National Player of the Year by Parade magazine in 2000.
Named to the USA Today All-USA 1st Team in 2000.
Selected to the McDonald's All-America Game in 2000.
Named 2nd Team All-BEC in 2001.
Named NCAA Division I Freshman of the Year in 2001. Named to the All-America Freshman Team.
Named BEC Rookie of the Year in 2001.
Named All-America Honorable Mention in 2001.
Named to the Rocky Mountain Revue 1st Team in 2001.
Voted to the NBA All-Rookie 2nd Team in 2002.
