Attended the National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Maryland, the Riverdale Baptist HS in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, the Oak Hill Academy and the Notre Dame Prep.
Played college ball at Kansas State in 2007-08.
Selected by the Miami Heat as 2nd overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Signed with the team in July.
Named to the USA Today All-USA 3rd Team in 2006.
Won the gold medal at the Under 18 World Championship with the US Team in 2006.
