  Once a big star in the league... He was said to be the one who could do a better defensive job against Jordan... Great post-up game... Could score from everywhere... Had range... One of the best scorers in recent history... Retired after winning a ring with the Lakers.
Attended the Boyd Anderson HS in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Played college ball at Moberly Junior College and Kansas State until 1988.
Selected by the Golden State Warriors as 5th overall pick in the 1988 NBA Draft.
Played in Golden State till November 1991, when he was traded to the Sacramento Kings. Played in Sacramento till 1997-98.
Traded to the Washington Wizards in May 1998.
Signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in July 2001. Retired at the end of the season.
Had his number retired by the Sacramento King in December 2003.
Currently working as a special assistant for the Golden State Warriors.
Won the gold medal at the 1996 Olympics Games with the US Team. Bronze Olympic medal in 1988.
3 times named to the All-NBA 2nd Team.
2 timed named to the All-NBA 3rd Team.
Voted NBA Rookie of the Year in 1988-89.
6 times selected to the NBA All-Star Game. MVP in 1995.

Won the NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2002.
