  One of the best foreign players in NBA history... Could very well be the best shooter in the league... Will hit his jumpers from anywhere no matter how... His shooting mechanic is just fantastic... Not afraid of contact in the paint... Has the physical and technical skills to score there, too... Good vision of the court... Runs the floor very well... Has improved on the defensive end... Does not usually deliver in big games.
Grew up in Red Star Belgrade (Serbia, then called Yugoslavia).
Moved to PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece) in 1993-94.
Selected by the Sacramento Kings as 14th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.
Joined the Sacramento Kings in 1998-99. Played there till 2005-06.
Traded to the Indiana Pacers in January 2006.
Signed with the New Orleans Hornets in July 2006.
Named MVP of the Greek League in 1997-98.
Bronze medal in the 1999 European Championship and the 2000 Olympic Games with the Yugoslav National Team.
Won the 2001 European and 2002 World Championships with the Yugoslav National Team.
Named MVP of the 2001 European Championship.
Selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
Won the NBA 3-point Shootout Contest in 2002 and 2003.
Voted to the 1st Team of the 2002 World Championship.
Voted to the HoopsHype.com All-NBA 1st Team in 2003-04.
Selected to the All-NBA 2nd Team in 2003-04.
Led the NBA in free-throw shooting percentage in 2003-04 and 2007-08.
Acquired the Greek Citizenship in 1993.
