Golden State Warriors

ADDITIONS:
Harrison Barnes (North Carolina), Kent Bazemore (Old Dominion), Festus Ezeli (Vanderbilt), Draymond Green (Michigan State), Jarrett Jack (New Orleans) and Carl Landry (New Orleans).

SUBTRACTIONS:
Mickell Gladness, Dominic McGuire (Toronto), Mikki Moore (Philadelphia), Nate Robinson (Chicago), Chris Wright and Dorell Wright (Philadelphia).

STRENGTHS:
Offense should not be a problem ... They have scoring threats at every position ... Outside shooting is going to be terrific with the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Brandon Rush and even Richard Jefferson ... Curry and Thompson look like potential All-Stars down the road ... The addition of Andrew Bogut gives the team a low-post go-to guy that plays good defense and rebounds the ball well, which should fuel more fast breaks ... Bogut and David Lee are great passers for big man standards ... Ball movement should be crisp ... Pretty nice second unit with Carl Landry and Jarrett Jack ... Intriguing potential with Harrison Barnes ... The Warriors have one of the best home crowds in basketball, which never hurts.

WEAKNESSES:
Golden State was consistently outrebounded last season ... Bogut and Landry will help there, but this should still not be a great squad in that department ... Bogut has struggled to stay healthy lately ... If he goes down to injury again, this is a doughnut team, with very little to show in the paint ... There's no reliable backup for the Aussie unless Andris Biedrins miraculously gets his mojo back ... Curry's ankle issues will be a cause of concern ... The Warriors are not up there with the most athletic teams in the league ... Golden State allowed 101.2 ppg last season, which was the third worst mark in the NBA ... Can Mark Jackson finally implement the defensive personality he was so vocal about? ... Jackson is an inexperienced coach that didn't really distinguish himself in his rookie year.

PROJECTION:
3rd in the Pacific Division / 10th in the Western Conference

PROJECTED STARTERS
PG: Stephen Curry Jason Richardson SG: Klay Thompson Andrei Kirilenko SF: Richard Jefferson
Key year for him. Big bucks await him next summer if he can stay healthy and lead the Warriors to the playoffs. Played above expectations during his rookie year. Can really shoot the lights out. Can he sustain his progress this season?  Not as athletic as he once was, but a much better outside shooter now. Will split time at small forward with rookie Harrison Barnes.
Yi Jianlian PF: David Lee C: Andrew Bogut Sixth: Carl Landry
Good offense, little defense. Has put a big numbers on bad teams throughout his career. Yet to play a postseason game. One of the top centers in the NBA if he stays healthy. The Austraian really fills a position of need for the Warriors. A fixture as Sixth Man of the Year candidate. Carl Landry makes up for the lack of size with smarts and hustle.
