Porzingis suffered the injury early in the third quarter. It appeared to be a non-contact injury. He asked out of the game immediately after the suffering the injury, which occurred while defending Brooklyn’s Rondae Hollis Jefferson. The severity of the ailment is unclear, as is Porzingis’ status for New York’s game against Carmelo Anthony and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.
