Thunder coach Billy Donovan said Russell Westbrook wore down in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night. The Rockets had seven different players guard him according to ESPN Stats and Information. The Rockets’ two best defenders were Trevor Ariza and Pat Beverley in which Westbrook went 0-4 against them. “He did all he could do to try and keep them in the game (with) his aggression,” Beverley said. “(We) put a lot of pressure, tried showing him bodies and I think we did that tonight.”

As expected, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, a five-time All-Star forward, has exercised the early termination option on his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent, league sources told The Vertical.
Griffin, 28, is a cornerstone player for the Clippers, a priority for them to re-sign this summer. Boston, Houston and Miami are among multiple possible free-agent destinations for Griffin, who’ll also consider returning to the Clippers.
