Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily News on 97.5 The Fanatic: I just got off the phone with somebody who I really trust in the NBA, and he’s like there’s no way his agent is going to let him play this year. That’s an injury that you don’t mess around with, and he thinks he’s going to keep him off his feet all year.

Mike B: @stevekylerNBA do you think the Celtics would have interest in Sanders /Bogut. Steve Kyler: No interest in Sanders. Did not do well in his workout. Bogut is a real possibility. Cavs, C’s, Rockets all said to be under consideration.
Sha-Money: Heard lastnight during the game that Sanders looked terrific. Steve Kyler: Cavs seemed to have liked him. Lakers and Celtics did not think he was far enough along physically. Heard was 20 pounds underweight.
Jermaine Reese: @stevekylerNBA so lue said he worked out good and/or he was amazed with his athleticism. But he didnt work out good? Smh 🤔 Steve Kyler: Cavs liked him, but Lakers and Celtics were not interested. Cavs consider him if they miss on Bogut.
Santiago Noguera: @stevekylerNBA Any news on Terrence Jones to Boston? Steve Kyler: Has to clear waivers… but there appears to be interest.
Matt Poirier: @stevekylerNBA Steve, is their mutual interest or just from one side? And if one side, which side? Thanks! Steve Kyler: What I had heard was his side, not sure where Boston is at on all of it.
ABN: @stevekylerNBA about how long will it take for Andrew Bogut to be bought out and than to clear waivers and be eligible to sign with any team. Steve Kyler: Word was Bogut and his agent started buyout process right after the trade, but this will be about how much money Bogut leaves to be free.
When asked if he felt the front office wanted him to return next season, thus picking up his option worth almost $24 million, Wade was noncommittal. “I don’t know,” Wade said. “I haven’t had that conversation about next season with the guys. I think we all understood when I came here I signed a two-year deal with a one-year [player] option. And both sides wanted it that way. And when that time came, no matter what the season or what teammates I had, it was going to be my option. I take my option seriously and I always look into what’s the best thing for me to do.
