At least for one game, the Utah Jazz are going to have to make due without Rudy Gobert. The Jazz center will miss Tuesday’s Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers with a hyperextended knee, The Salt Lake Tribune has learned. Gobert was originally hurt 11 seconds into Saturday’s Game 1, when he knocked knees with Clippers forward Luc Mbah A Moute while setting a screen, causing the hyperextension.

As expected, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, a five-time All-Star forward, has exercised the early termination option on his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent, league sources told The Vertical.
Griffin, 28, is a cornerstone player for the Clippers, a priority for them to re-sign this summer. Boston, Houston and Miami are among multiple possible free-agent destinations for Griffin, who’ll also consider returning to the Clippers.
