As an MVP-caliber season nears an end with Xinjiang in China, Lester Hudson has received inquiries from the Memphis Grizzlies, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers, looking into the guard’s availability, league sources told RealGM. In helping take Xinjiang to the Chinese Basketball Association playoffs and leading the club to the second-best record in the league, Hudson is averaging 26 points, 7.6 rebounds and five assists. The CBA regular season concluded on Feb. 16, bringing a flurry of American players back to the free agency pool, but Hudson remained with his team in postseason play and will become available soon. The rosters for the upcoming CBA All-Star weekend have been finalized with fans voting for the team starters. The starting line-ups were selected by fan balloting across China. Fans had the opportunity to choose their favorite players via social media voting which began on November 25th and ended January 5th. Top vote-getter, Stephon Marbury (Beijing Ducks, point guard), led the pack with 847,868 to be a starter on the the Northern Division team. Unfortunately Marbury hasn’t returned to the court from the meniscus tear he suffered at the beginning of the season. He will be replaced by Lester Hudson (Xinjiang Flying Tigers, Guard). Spoke with representatives for former Cavs & Grizzlies guard Lester Hudson on Thursday. Hudson, an unrestricted free agent, has drawn interest from several teams, said Tyler Glass -- although Glass politely declined to elaborate. "The conversations were in confidence," Glass said. "But we feel good (about chances of Hudson getting signed before start of training camp)." Sulia

Hudson was surprised he wasn't signed for the entire season by Cavs. He signed a 10-day contract in late March, then received a second 10-day after averaging 12.7 points, hitting a couple big shots and inspiring Cavs owner Dan Gilbert to offer praise via Twitter. But the Cavs cut ties with Hudson after the second 10-day, and he finished the year by playing three games for the Grizzlies. Hudson scored 9 points on 3-6 shooting in his return to CLE on April 24. The Thunder are said to be among the teams interested. No word on the Cavs or Grizzlies. Sulia
