According to league sources, free agent Anthony Randolph would like returning to Warriors. The only question is would GSW want him. They'd have to miss out on Carl Landry to consider Randolph. For his career, Randolph averages as many rebounds (5.1) as Landry in 7 fewer mins. Randolph is also a better shotblocker. And Mark Jackson is supposed to be someone who can deal with Randolph's temperament. Sulia

Seeking out young, athletic talent, the Dallas Mavericks are showing interest in local product Anthony Randolph, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed. Randolph, who turns 23 on July 15, did not receive a qualifying offer from the Minnesota Timberwolves, making him an unrestricted free agent. The former Woodrow Wilson High School standout in Dallas played sporadically for Minnesota last season after averaging 11.7 points and 5.2 rebounds in 34 games after coming over in a trade from the New York Knicks the previous season. Though the Wolves can re-sign Beasley and Randolph at lower salaries, a league source said Beasley's exit is permanent. The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the club will consider re-signing Randolph, who appeared in just 34 of the Wolves' 66 games last season. Beasley's production also was minimal last season. He missed 19 games because of foot, toe and hand injuries and averaged a career-low 11.5 points. St. Paul Pioneer Press

Kahn declined to discuss the futures of such players as Darko Milicic, Michael Beasley, Anthony Randolph and Martell Webster. Beasley and Randolph will become unrestricted free agents if the team doesn't pick up rich qualifying offers for each of them. Webster's $5.7 million option for next season can be spent more wisely, and Milicic almost certainly has played his last game for Adelman. Minneapolis Star-Tribune

Taylor said Love's big contract won't prevent the Wolves from signing some free agents to large contracts. "We would have room even after Kevin," Taylor said. "We have it figured out for three years ahead that we can keep all the good guys that we need. We have a plan here." The salary cap is now $70 million before the teams have to pay the tax if they go over the limit. Salaries on the current Wolves roster are at around $60 million, leaving room to sign other players. The Wolves have all their players locked up for through 2013 except for Michael Beasley and Anthony Randolph. "The plan is to wait until the end of the year until they decide on the contracts with those two guys," Taylor said. Minneapolis Star-Tribune
