The 27-year-old guard is a free agent after working out with the Los Angeles Lakers during the pre-season. The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guards Trey Johnson and Anthony Roberson and centers Andrew Naymick and Russell Hicks, it was announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not released. Johnson, a 6-6 guard out of Jackson State, has split time over the past three seasons with the NBA Development League’s Bakersfield Jam and international teams in France, Italy and Serbia. A 2008-09 D-League All-Star and All-D-League Second Team member, in February of 2009, Johnson signed a 10-day NBA contract with Cleveland, appearing in four games for the Cavaliers (1.0 points, 0.3 rebounds, 3.5 minutes). Beginning last season with BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral in the French League, Johnson later re-signed with Bakersfield in March, averaging 21.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 13 games with the Jam. The Los Angeles Lakers have signed former NBA Development League guards Trey Johnson and Anthony Roberson for their training camp roster which opens next week according to multiple sources. The Lakers also signed center Russell Hicks to a training camp contract earlier this month. Ridiculous Upside

Roberson, whose signing was first reported by HoopsHype's Jorge Sierra, has appeared in 65 NBA games split between the Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls. A 6-foot-2 point guard, Roberson was in camp with both the Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers last season before eventually playing for Strasbourg IG in France. While in France, Roberson averaged 18.5 points and hit 41 percent (74 -of-181) of his attempts from three-point territory. Ridiculous Upside
