When seen afterwards leaving the locker room, Afflalo was asked if he’d be good to go in Game 2, telling CSNNW.com, “Yeah, I’m good.” Afflalo, who suffered a right shoulder strain earlier this month against the Golden State Warriors, missed the last three games of the regular season while recovering. Afflalo suffered a right shoulder strain late in the fourth quarter against the Golden State Warriors on April 9. "Just a lot of rehabbing," He said of his last nine days following the injury. "Haven't been able to do too much heavy basketball stuff. So I'll just try to see how I feel today and tomorrow morning and go from there." The Portland Trail Blazers announced on Friday that shooting guard Arron Afflalo is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a right shoulder strain after getting an MRI. Afflalo was forced from the fourth quarter of Thursday's 116-105 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. He appeared to injure the shoulder while trying to fight for position on a post-up play against Golden State's Stephen Curry. The timeline is a tough one for the Blazers. Columbian

But after the game, the eight-year NBA veteran admitted to playing somewhat timid with his new team and in a new role. "Obviously, I was a little passive," Afflalo said after the game. "They want me to be my best but out of respect for my teammates you want to come out there and feel the game (out) a little bit, so I was a little passive. But I see the potential and I see the opportunity there and I learn from Game 1 and become more and more aggressive with confidence." Oregonian
