The American guard talked to Eurohoops about the new challenge he has in his career, his goal at the CBA and he admits he was on advanced discussion with Olympiacos –before Vasilis Spanoulis signed his new contract- and Barcelona. He also states that someday he will play at the NBA. “Yes I’m very happy with my decision to go to China, it will be and new challenge and experience for me and I’m ready for it. I expect to go there and try to win a championship, that’s my goal on any team I’m on. I expect to go there and be vocal and lead by example leader, It will be different as far as the culture of there but I’ m able to adjust to anything as long as I’m playing basketball”. Did he talk with anybody who knew about CBA, before he signed? “I spoke to one of my good friends Pooh Jeter who plays over there and he was telling me how the league. The desperate-for-a-point-guard Knicks have until Aug. 15 to make a move on intriguing Euroleague point guard Bobby Brown, and he hopes they do. Brown signed a tentative agreement Wednesday to play for Donguam of the Chinese Basketball Association, but can break the deal before that date, according to a league source. The league source said Brown’s top choice is to play for the Knicks and take less money than his roughly $1 million-plus Chinese pact. New York Post

Knicks assistant GM Allan Houston and Baron Davis watched point guard Bobby Brown work out Wednesday at Impact Academy, Andrew Moore, Director of Development at Impact, confirmed to SNY.tv. As first reported by Yahoo! Sports, the Knicks also worked Brown out in Las Vegas on Tuesday, meaning they saw him two days in a row. “They watched him play five-on-five at Impact [Wednesday],” Moore told SNY.tv. “He looked great. With his experience, he can run a team, keep them organized and really score the ball when necessary. “He’s a tough, pesky on-ball defender, too.” ZagsBlog.com
