Don’t expect Warriors guard Charlie Bell at training camp anytime soon. According to a person with knowledge of the situation, Bell has been informed to stay in Michigan and not to return to the Bay Area for practice. It is unclear whether the Warriors delivered that message to Bell’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, or to Bell himself. CSNBayArea.com

CHARLIE BELL STATEMENT: "I’m extremely sorry for my actions. I know I’ve let many people down, including my family, fans, team and the Flint community. The past few months and the break up of my family have been devastating and I have dealt with it irresponsibly. I am committed to doing whatever is necessary to deal with things the right way. I thank everyone for their continued support, understanding, and encouragement." CSNBayArea.com

Already no stranger to drama, Kenya Bell will soon be putting her life — the good and the bad — out there for the world to see. Bell, wife of the Flint native and Golden State Warriors guard Charlie Bell, will be a new addition to the cast of VH1’s “Basketball Wives Miami,” which airs in February. “I’m very excited. I was very humbled when they called me and told me they wanted me to be on the show,” said Kenya Bell, former Miss Michigan USA. “I couldn’t believe (I was selected). There was like thousands of women that have been related in some way to basketball that wanted to be on the show.” Booth Newspapers

Recently Kenya Bell made headlines after she allegedly attacked her husband. She reportedly stabbed him with a box cutter in their home in Grand Blanc Township in May, according to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton in May. The court records file of the case has been sealed, making it closed to the public, but Kenya Bell’s attorney Matthew Norwood said all charges were dismissed. But Kenya Bell doesn’t focus on the incident anymore, she said. “I was in the news so much before that and I will be in the news so much in the future. I don’t believe that will be part of my story anymore,” she said. Booth Newspapers
