Twitter Rockets second-round pick Chandler Parsons agreed to a two-month contract to play for Cholet in France that will allow him to report to the Rockets for the start of training camp if the NBA lockout ends in time. The deal to remain overseas might happen should the lockout continue. Parsons, 22, will join the team early next week and can opt out of his contract beginning Oct. 3 if the lockout ends. “It’s great for the team and it’s great for Chandler,” Parson’s agent, Mark Bartelstein said. “He can play two months for a really good team and we’ll see what happens in the world. As reported by Catch and Shoot, Cholet is eyeing Chandler Parsons. The forward spent his college career with Florida Gators averaging 11.3ppg and 7.8rpg as senior.
