There is no clear indication yet of the Cavs’ plans. It was only a week ago that James announced his return to the Cavaliers through his first-person essay as told Sports Illustrated. That very day was Wiggins’ debut at Summer League. Since then, Wiggins has been at the center of a constant trade rumors. “It’s been crazy, but it’s all positive stuff,” Wiggins said. “With LeBron coming back, there’s nothing negative about that; the best player in the world coming to your team. The organization is on the rise right now.” NBA.com

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers have discussed a blockbuster trade centered around Kevin Love and the league's last two No. 1 draft picks, league sources told ESPN. In an attempt to add Love, a three-time All-Star, the Cavaliers are willing to part with Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, the top picks in the past two drafts. One source said the Cavs are also willing to give up a first-round draft pick for next season. Any other players involved in the talks are not known. ESPN.com

Blatt and the Cavs have tried to ignore the outside noise and limit the questions about Wiggins' availability in a potential trade. But the inquiries will continue as long as Love is available. The first-year head coach had no choice but to address the speculation on Thursday night. "Rumors are rumors," Blatt said following the Cavs loss to the Rockets. "That's why they call them rumors. Sooner or later in one's career you're going to have to deal with it. If (Andrew) has to deal with it now then so be it. It's summer league. He's learning everything as he's going along." The two clubs have been engaged in trade discussions since LeBron James announced that he would return to Cleveland last Friday. But the Cavaliers' refusal to include the 19-year-old Wiggins in any trade stalled talks, as sources said the Timberwolves were unwilling to send Love to Cleveland without receiving the former star Kansas guard in return. Tim Kawakami: Checked with an NBA source who says there's no indication the Warriors will up their bid for Kevin Love if Cleveland makes a bigger push. Translation: Even if CLE is willing to put Wiggins into a KLove bid, the Warriors still aren't willing to do the same with Klay Thompson. Twitter @timkawakami
