Stuck in the worst shooting slump of his NBA career, Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard says there is only one solution to his funk. "I just have to keep shooting the ball,'' Lillard said. "That's pretty much it.'' Oregonian

"It's funny because it feels good when I shoot it,'' Lillard said Thursday after he went 6-for-15 from the field and 0-for-5 from three-point range in the Blazers' 108-87 win over Phoenix. "I think it's just one of those stretches I'm having, and the ball isn't going in.'' Oregonian

Damian Lillard won't get a chance to show off his first All-Star sig release, as he didn't make the 2015 NBA All-Star quad. Lillard seemed like such a lock that Portland Trailblazers fan Josh Thatcher made a bet on Twitter that he'd eat a shoe if Lillard somehow, against all odds, wasn't on the team. Thatcher followed through with the below video, in which he takes a child-sized shoe, boils it to sterilize, blends it up, and then eats it. Sole Collector

Damian Lillard is not an All-Star, somehow. The Portland Trail Blazers snub will have to wait to see if another injury comes up to allow him to get in, and even then, he'll have to fight off Mike Conley and Zach Randolph. But the Portland Trail Blazers star continues to rack up the famous points with his new Foot Locker ad that features Nick Cannon, Ian Ziering, and one of the dudes from N'Sync, among others. If things weren't already bad enough for the Trail Blazers - they have lost seven of the past nine - the team arrived in Milwaukee early Saturday morning to a hotel that point guard Damian Lillard and center Robin Lopez swear is spooked. "Pfister hotel in Milwaukee is haunted ... idc (I don't care) what nobody say,'' Lillard tweeted Saturday morning. "It's true tho!!'' Lopez retorted. "Good thing I'm in tuned with the spirit world.'' Oregonian

"I didn't want to come out and try to go out of my way to prove a point," Lillard said of his performance. "I just wanted to do what I always do for the team. And that's do everything I can to give us a chance to win. I came out and did that. It's just unfortunate I didn't make a few more shots." Oregonian

Damian Lillard: I just want to thank the coaches who feel I wasn't good enough, the fans that didn't think I was good enough , and Adam Silver also for not thinking I was good enough. This isn't unfamiliar territory for me , it's actually what my life has been inspired by. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed or that I don't feel disrespected but it's not too much to handle. Not the first or last guy to be snubbed. "You should have been there" isn't good enough for me. But anyway, The reason I'm in these shoes is because I've always use the hand I was dealt to my advantage... A wise man once told me... " it ain't always gone be peaches and cream but somebody has to pay for the reason it's not ... One way or another " ... #ImThankful #Real #NonAllStar #RipCity #YellowTape http://instagram.com/p/yfT7CcP4rE/ Instagram
