Detroit Mayor Dave Bing's wish of returning the Detroit Pistons to Detroit could come true. With Mike and Marion Ilitch's announced intent to purchase the NBA team, speculation about where the team would play is running high. While Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson is looking to keep the team at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Bing thinks having the Pistons within city limits would continue to revitalize the area. "The news is early, but promising. The City of Detroit is excited about the opportunity of welcoming the Pistons back home!" Bing said in a statement. Booth Newspapers
