This really is not news; in fact if you re-wind to 2010 in Chicago, similar commentary was coming out of the Bulls locker room. The good news for the Clippers is that they have two qualified coaches on their staff already – the first is Marc Iavaroni who coached the Grizzlies for two seasons. Former Trail Blazers assistant coach Dean Demopoulos joined me on the Bald Faced Truth radio show on 750-AM (3-6 p.m. on 750-AM). Lead assistant Dean Demopoulos will not return to the team, according to his agent, Warren LeGarie. Demopoulos has been with McMillan for the past nine seasons, four in Seattle and five in Portland, but will not be retained after his contract expires on Wednesday. McMillan is in the process of shuffling his staff, and said he won't comment on coaches until his staff is complete. Demopoulos declined comment until Wednesday. Oregonian
