Interim Clippers CEO Dick Parsons testified earlier in the week in state court that Rivers told him on multiple occasions that he doesn't think he wants to continue coaching the team if Sterling remains in control of the franchise. "We're all going to talk about it," Paul said. "We're all definitely going to talk about it. Doc, Blake [Griffin], DJ [DeAndre Jordan]. It's unacceptable." ESPN.com

The Clippers could consider sending Griffin and Jared Dudley or Griffin and Matt Barnes to Miami to get James. The Clippers wouldn’t mind trading DeAndre Jordan, Jamal Crawford and either Barnes or Dudley to the Heat for James, but the team knows that would most likely be hard to do. Los Angeles Times

As Griffin himself would explain, the mental part of his process is coming along quite well. The player who is so often guilty of being a cliché machine had a revealing moment when asked about the support he gets from teammates and coaches, one that bodes so very well for him and the Clippers going forward. "Whether you believe it or not, every NBA player deals with confidence issues at times," Griffin said. "Before every game, to hear CP, Jamal, (DeAndre Jordan), Matt (Barnes), (Darren Collison), on down the line to our whole coaching staff say, 'Go attack, go score, go do what you do' is a confidence builder. That gets me into the game. "Even when I'm missing shots and they still say that, sometimes I want to be like, 'Man, you guys do it for a little bit,' (laughs) but that's huge man. It's encouraging. I think it's big for our team." USA Today Sports

Plenty of opposing players have had the misfortune of being dunked on by Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. From Brandon Knight to Timofey Mozgov, there are horror stories all over the league. But what happens when Griffin accidentally dunks on Jordan? They found out on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns when Griffin put back a missed Chris Paul jumper over Jordan’s head. For The Win

Did the NBA move too quickly in eliminating the center position on the All-Star ballot? At least one NBA executive believes so. "I wouldn't call it a renaissance because they don't play the position quite the same way, but the position is stocked with young quality players," he said, ticking off Andre Drummond, DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan and Jonas Valanciunas coming up behind Joakim Noah, Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez, Al Jefferson, Roy Hibbert and Marc Gasol. Finally giving us an answer to the age-old question “What if NBA stars Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan got together with everyone from Danielle Fishel to the cast of The League to Jean-Ralphio from Parks & Recreation, and the whole lot of them sat down at long, mismatched, fold-out tables to do a live-read of the script for the 1996 cinematic classic, Space Jam?,” Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan got together last night with everyone from Danielle Fishel to the cast of The League to Jean-Ralphio from Parks & Recreation, and the whole lot of them sat down at long, mismatched, fold-out tables to do a live-read of the script for the 1996 cinematic classic, Space Jam. And it turns out the answer is: I will like it. Uproxx

0ne0f0ne's unique designs, which are priced at upwards of $20,000, feature architectural materials that are then molded through a layered process that involves mill or laser-cut machines, surfacing, applied acids for color and tone, and then blending them together to tell a story. Currently, 0ne0f0ne is working on art pieces for DeAndre Jordan and Dorell Wright, with a vision from each. The company's NBA first was a four-month project for Blake Griffin, which he posted on his Instagram account and is now on a wall in his L.A. pad. Crafted with mainly walnut and copper—representing Griffin's hair color—0ne0f0ne constructed a piece portraying the L.A. skyline and coast, the city's major highways and intersections in downtown, a perspective of the Staples Center, his rookie year short chart with pegs for all of his dunks, and a representation of the state of Oklahoma, where he is from. The Clippers coach said Wednesday he had lobbied his fellow Western Conference coaches to cast an All-Star vote for center DeAndre Jordan, who has become one of the game’s elite big men in his sixth NBA season. “I got a great response,” Rivers said, “but that’s why you go under a curtain and you vote for real because [they say], ‘Yeah, I’m going to vote for him’ and then they [pull] that other lever.” Los Angeles Times

DeAndre Jordan wants to be in the All-Star game as a participant, not just as a dunker. So when NBA officials approached the Clippers' center before Friday's game about being in the dunk contest, Jordan told them what his true wish was. "I just told them I wanted to see what happens," Jordan said. "I'm not trying to disrespect them. But I want to be in the All-Star game as a player and not just as a dunker." Los Angeles Times

This year, much like the previous two seasons, Jordan is thought of as a candidate for All-Star Saturday’s dunk contest. However, on Tuesday Jordan reiterated his feeling from last season when he turned down a chance for the premier Saturday night event in his hometown of Houston. “I just don’t want to go to the All-Star game to be in the dunk contest and go home,” he said. “I want to be there competing in the game with a couple of my teammates.” NBA.com

There was a time when creating a better fit would've meant dealing Jordan, but that was before he emerged as a triple-double threat in points, rebounds and blocked shots. Griffin’s curse is that the value of his unique strengths among big men—ballhandling and passing—is minimized by Paul’s dominance of the ball. Paul, sources say, sees Jordan as a younger version of his lanky center in New Orleans, Tyson Chandler, and wishes Griffin were more like his New Orleans power forward, David West. Bleacher Report
