Deonte Burton’s two predecessors as the Wolf Pack’s point guard both left school after their junior seasons. Burton could follow suit. For the first time this season, the talented 21-year-old spoke this week about his future at Nevada and said there’s a chance he turns pro after this season, following in the footsteps of Armon Johnson and Ramon Sessions, who both entered the draft after their junior seasons to mixed results. “It’s definitely a possibility,” Burton said on Monday of potentially turning pro after the season. “I want to keep all of my options open. But right now, I’m just focused on this season and finishing strong.” Reno Gazette-Journal
