The Bucks have dangled names like Ersan Ilyasova, O.J. Mayo and even big man John Henson in offers to other teams, so its clear the Bucks want to make a deal and with Sanders’ $11 million per year salary likely being stretched down to just over $2.1 million per year, the Bucks have some unexpected breathing room to take on a player that could command real money in July. Major likely buck to be traded is? Chad Ford: Actually hearing from teams that there's a lot of interest in Ilyasova. A veteran stretch four. Could be valuable to a playoff team. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Bucks didn't do anything. They have great chemistry right now, are set up to win 45 games this season. For their young players, this experience of getting playing time and winning is huge. ESPN.com

Ersan Ilyasova is ready to return to the Milwaukee Bucks lineup Thursday when the team plays the New York Knicks in the NBA Global Games in London. Suddenly, the Bucks power forward position will look a lot different with Ilyasova playing as a "stretch 4" again and recently signed Kenyon Martin pitching in on the front line. Ilyasova has missed 19 of the last 20 games after suffering a broken nose Dec. 2 in Cleveland and a concussion when he returned Dec. 23 against Charlotte. Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

After having missed nine games earlier this month due to a nasal fracture that required surgery, the Milwaukee Bucks forward is out again after suffering a concussion in his first game back. Ilyasova suffered the injury after colliding with teammate Zaza Pachulia in the Bucks' home loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Dec. 23 and didn't make the trip with Milwaukee in its victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. "This had nothing to do with the broken nose," said coach Jason Kidd of Ilyasova, who scored four points in 16 minutes in that Hornets game. "He's feeling a little bit better. We'll see how he feels tomorrow. "Hopefully he can do a little something, but we're still thinking he's going to be out for a couple more days." Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel

Ilyasova will not go with the Bucks on their four-game western trip next week but is encouraged that he can return fairly soon, after being fitted for a mask he will wear to protect his nose. "I've broken my nose several times in the past eight years, and so far this is one of the worst ones," Ilyasova said. "I had a couple fractures, some of the new and old ones. "I had to get surgery and just put it in place. It was hard to breathe. Now I feel much better." Ilyasova was cleared for conditioning drills and said he has passed a concussion test. Ilyasova has worn a mask several times before while with the Bucks and while playing international basketball with Turkey. The last time he wore a mask in NBA competition was during the 2012-'13 season. "I have to wear it for a couple months and we'll see how it goes," Ilyasova said. "You're going to be afraid to get hit again. Even now, if somebody pushed me, I kind of shy away a little bit. "But hopefully it's going to work out for me." Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
