According to Turkish newspaper AMK, TBL side Galatasaray Medical Park is interested in signing Mehmet Okur. Veteran big man has not been able to find a club in NBA yet and Galatasaray Medical Park, who were quite active in the transfer market this year is getting ready to make a move for Okur. Free agent forward Darius Songaila is finally signing with Galatasaray of Turkey, one source told HoopsHype. The Lithuanian forward came close to joining Lietuvos Rytas last week, but ended up accepting a one-year deal with the Turkish club, who will compete for a spot in the Euroleague this season. The Center from Montenegro spent his first season in NBA with Minnesota Timberwolves with whom has two years left on his contract.
