Gilbert Arenas did not play in the NBA last season, yet reportedly took home more than $20 million thanks to a six-year, $111 million contract he signed with Washington in 2008. He was traded to Orlando in 2010 and was amnestied by the Magic in 2011. So he is being paid eight figures not to play. But enough of that nonsense. Gilbert, figuring you may forget about with him sittin' around at home when he's not playing in China, wanted to remind everybody he's still alive . . . and still gettin' paid. FOXSports.com

However, Arenas may get the opportunity he has been looking for in the coming weeks. The combo guard has been training in Las Vegas and Los Angeles this summer, and looking very good. He’s in excellent shape and performing very well in pick-up games against fellow NBA players. Sources close to the situation say that the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in Arenas and that they may extend a training camp invite to the 31-year-old. HoopsWorld

Just because Michael Jordan can still dunk, doesn't mean he can still dominate in 1-on-1 ... so says Gilbert Arenas, who tells TMZ he'd whoop the 50-year-old if it came down to it. 31-year-old Arenas -- who played for the Shanghai Sharks last season -- was clearly impressed with the footage of MJ throwin' one down last weekend, saying, "If he's still dunking at 50, that means he's still athletic enough to guard anyone." But if Jordan suddenly appeared at Gilbert's home court -- and wanted to go mano-a-mano -- GA says it wouldn't even be close .. JORDAN WOULD GO DOWN. TMZ.com

Gilbert Arenas, the former NBA player who signed a $111 million contract after two outstanding years, only to suffer numerous injuries that curtailed his career, is selling his mansion in lovely Great Falls, Virginia. (Great Falls really is breathtaking – I grew up about 35 minutes away.) Arenas, who had widely publicized problems during his last few years in the league, put his house on the market last year, pulled it, and has now re-listed it for $3.5 million according to Realtor.com. A summer ago, Gilbert Arenas delighted us all when he put his D.C. area mansion on the market. It was everything one would expect of an Agent Zero-owned home and was one of the more unique athlete real estate offerings we’ve seen. Now it’s back on the market after relisting for $3.5 million. Besides its world-class grotto, high-end entertainment centers and a hyperbaric chamber, what sets the home apart are the shark tanks. Yes, multiple shark tanks. Inside the 9,042-square-foot estate, Gil decided to unleash his own lil’ “Sharknado”: There’s a shark tank in the entryway, a massive shark tank in his rec room — heck, even a shark tank in his swim-in grotto. When it comes to shark tanks, Gilbert Arenas does not mess around. Realtor
