He managed to get the ball out of his hands before the shot clock hit zero so it counted, which means Canaan would be far better at four square or hot potato than you or I could ever be. The refs ruled that his foot was planted inside the three when he jumped, so it counted as a two, but it was incredible all the same. For The Win

Isaiah Canaan arrived in Philadelphia Friday after the Sixers traded for him on Thursday. He did not play in the Sixers' loss to Indiana that night, but he will play Sunday when they face the Magic in Orlando. "He will start," Brett Brown said Saturday after practice. "He is our starting point guard. Welcome to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2015. I am thrilled to do it. We will go with J. Rich (Jason Richardson) again and Robert [Covington] and Isaiah. Heading into his second season with of all of 22 NBA games under his belt, Isaiah Canaan had no quarrel with giving up his number to Trevor Ariza, who had worn No. 1 in half of his 10 NBA seasons, including his one previous season with the Rockets. But Canaan has been around long enough to know there could be some reward coming his way for his understanding. "I mess with him from time to time," Canaan said.
