I see what situation is best for me and my family and I go that way. I would not mind playing for Euroleague title as basketball here in Europe is as good as it is in the States. Zalgiris Kaunas started Tuesday with a great announcement as former Sixer James Anderson signed a one year deal with the team. The player was rumored to be also in Panathinaikos’ radar, however the Lithuanians moved faster and secured his services for next season in the LKL and Euroleague. EuroHoops.net

Turner isn’t the only one who has changed. Big man Lavoy Allen has dropped 14 pounds and almost 3 percent body fat. Guard James Anderson has lost 11 pounds and almost 3 percent body fat. Center Daniel Orton is down 13 pounds and 3 percent body fat in a little over a month since becoming a Sixer. Injured guard Jason Richardson has dropped 11 pounds despite not being expected to play until late January or February. Injured big man Arnett Moultrie has lost five pounds and probably won’t play until at least January. Bucks County Courier Times

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed guard/forward James Anderson to a multi-year deal. To make room on the roster, the Rockets have released guard Daequan Cook. Anderson (6-6, 215, Oklahoma State), who actually began the 2012-13 season with Rio Grande Valley, was re-signed by San Antonio on Nov. 21, 2012. In 10 games this season with the Spurs, Anderson averaged 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per outing. He tallied a season-high nine points, four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes at Miami(11/29/12). Anderson was waived by the Spurs on Dec. 20, 2012. NBA.com
