After Jamie Skeen, ASVEL made official the signing of former NBA player Hilton Armstrong for one season. Selected in the 2006 NBA draft with the 12th overall pick by New Orleans Hornets, the forward-center has spent the season 2010-11 with Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks with whom he has played 19 games averaging 1.1ppg and 1.3rpg. The Celtics plan to hold their first draft workout June 1 at their practice facility in Waltham. Celtics president Danny Ainge said Wisconsin’s Jon Leuer, Richmond’s Justin Harper, Virginia Commonwealth’s Jamie Skeen, and Butler’s Matt Howard — all power forwards — will be among the players invited. “The list will probably grow as we get closer to that workout,’’ Ainge said.
