Jeff Foote is set to replace Robertas Javtokas in Zalgiris' roster, Kauno Diena daily reports. The club needed to add a center as Lithuanian national team captain will be out of action for at least 4-6 months. Jeff Foote, a three-time All-Ivy League center at Cornell and Spencer-Van Etten graduate, was named to the Brooklyn Nets' Summer League roster on Tuesday. Foote's father, Don, said in May that Jeff would accept an invitation to play for the team. The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they have signed forward Jeff Foote to a 10-day contract. Foote, a Cornell University product, has appeared in 29 regular season games with the Springfield Armor in the NBA Developmental League this season, starting in 28 of the 29 contests. Foote averaged 14.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 32.9 minutes of play with the Armor. NBA.com
