John Jenkins filed paperwork with the NBA draft undergraduate advisory committee before Tuesday's deadline, according to a source. Jenkins tested the draft waters at the end of the 2011 season before deciding to return to school. The junior guard has until April 29th to decide whether to declare for the draft or come back to Vanderbilt for his senior season. CBSSports.com

Vanderbilt's John Jenkins said he is "not so sure right now" whether he'll be returning for his junior season. The Commodores host Florida today in the last game of the regular season, meaning this could be the SEC leading scorer's last game at Memorial Gym. "A lot of (agents) have been calling my family and stuff, and I haven't gotten too much into it," Jenkins said. "Vanderbilt has been so good to me. I really don't want to leave. But any time you get a chance to play your dream, it's always hard to turn down." The Tennessean

Jenkins doesn't show up in many 2011 mock drafts because he never has spoken about the possibility of coming out this year. NBADraft.net projects Jenkins as the No. 10 pick in its 2012 draft, seven spots ahead of Taylor and 24 ahead of Ezeli. "I see most of my (projections) being in the lottery next year," Jenkins said. "But a lot of people have been telling me that shooters are really needed in the NBA and they have been comparing me to Ray Allen more and more as the season's been going on.
