The Atlanta Hawks have named Kenny Gattison as an assistant coach, according to Executive Vice President/General Manager Rick Sund. Per team policy, the terms were not disclosed. “I’m excited about the opportunity to join Larry Drew’s staff here in Atlanta,” Gattison said. “They have a young and talented, yet experienced nucleus that won 53 games last year. I look forward to helping our players improve individually and collectively.” NBA.com
