Odom and his wife, Khloe Kardashian, filmed part of their reality TV show, Khloe & Lamar, during this past NBA season. Cameras and workers from the show were frequently in the locker room before and after Mavs' games -- even as Odom's game was in a downward spiral. But on Oprah's Next Chapter, which aired Sunday night, Odom said the reality TV show wasn't a distraction and had no effect on his poor performance with the Mavs. "I think this past year I didn't perform on a level that I wanted to perform as far as being a professional basketball player,'' Odom said. Khloe Kardashian has been benched from her reality TV show. Kardashian and Dallas Mavericks scrub Lamar Odom, who headline “Khloe & Lamar,” are ending their E! series, according to TMZ.com. The duo won’t return for a third season of “Khloe & Lamar,” a spinoff off “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” so Odom can get his struggling NBA career back on track. New York Post

Charles Barkley says Lamar Odom had a difficult time adjusting to life in Dallas because he was suffering from a divorce. Not a divorce from his reality TV star wife Khloe Kardashian, but a divorce from his former NBA team. During a local radio interview on Wednesday, the NBA on TNT analyst and Hall of Fame player said Odom never reached his potential with the Mavericks because his feelings were still hurt from being traded by the Los Angeles Lakers. "I think he just, like, mentally was like, 'Wow, they don't like me anymore,'" Barkley said on the Galloway and Company show on KESN-FM 103.3 in Dallas. The Mavericks yesterday bounced Khloe Kardashian husband Odom — who arrived from the Los Angeles Lakers in December — after four months of poor performance, family drama and off-court antics that left the team’s management fed up. Just hours after taking to Twitter to defend her husband, Mavericks forward Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian was at it again following the Mavs' 97-92 loss to the New Orleans Hornets. Then when the truth comes out no one owns up to 'reporting' the rumors they so carelessly spread," Kardashian wrote on her Twitter account. Khloe Kardashian-Odom was a guest on Conan O'Brien's television show Wednesday night and discussed her thoughts on going to strip clubs with and without her husband. "I like strip clubs. I don’t mind it. I don’t go like every Tuesday for a lunch, it’s not that," she said. "Lamar and I, we enjoy it. It’s fun." Kardashian-Odom also admitted that Lamar is allowed to go without her. "Recently he went with some of his teammates and he asked, 'Do you mind if I go to a strip club, tonight?' I was like, 'Sure, go.' It’s like male bonding, why do I care," she said. Mrs. Jenner, mother to Khloe Kardashian, the wife of Mavs forward and former Lakers star Lamar Odom -- who hugged his mother-in-law in front of a semi-circle of cameras in the court-level concourse of the Staples Center (no word if she also hugged ex-son-in-law Kris Humphries, whose New Jersey Nets played in the matinee Monday against the Clippers) -- walked up to Cuban, flashed a smile and said she wanted to introduce herself. Check out an upcoming episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," as the lights were on and the cameras were rolling -- not that Cuban seemed to mind all that much. She wanted to thank Cuban for making Lamar feel at home and that when she comes to Dallas to visit the kids, dinner is on her. That exactly what the American Airlines Center got on Wednesday night as both Khloe and her sister, Kim, showed up for the Mavericks-Phoenix Suns game. Khloe, wife of Mavericks forward Lamar Odom, has been a regular at Dallas games this season, of course. Lamar Odom saw the reports out of Los Angeles that said the Lakers thought he was distracted by the reality show in which he co-stars with wife Khloe Kardashian . Odom said he hasn't spoken to Mavericks owner Mark Cuban about whether he'll continue the show. "He seems like the guy that he'll really like it though; he's outgoing and rambunctious," Odom said. TMZ is reporting that the camera crews from the E! reality TV shows -- Khloe and Lamar, and Keeing Up With The Kardashians -- will follow Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian to Dallas. The Dallas Mavericks acquired Odom this past Saturday from the Los Angeles Lakers. They also acquired the Kardashians, who have almost dominated the reality TV show world. According to TMZ, cameras will definitely follow Odom and Kardashian on their journey to Dallas, and that the move and their new life in Dallas will be a plot in both shows. Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom was a passenger in a car that struck and seriously injured a motocyclist and a pedestrian in his hometown of Queens, New York, on Thursday, according to the New York Post. A publicist for Odom's wife, Khloe Kardashian, told the newspaper that Kardashian was not with her husband a the time of the accident. A source close to Odom also told the Post that he was not physically injured in the accident, but was "shaken up" by the incident. ESPN.com
