The Detroit Pistons today recalled rookies Khris Middleton and Kim English from Ft. Wayne of the NBA Development League. English averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 36.7 minutes in three games (all starts). The Missouri product is averaging 3.2 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 10 Pistons games. Middleton averaged 11.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 26.3 minutes in three games (all starts). The Texas A&M product has appeared in three Pistons games this season, averaging 1.3 points, 0.7 assists and 0.7 steals. Detroit Free Press

George David, the Pistons' director of player personnel, is charged with compiling the team's roster for the July 9-13 Orlando Magic Summer League, a process which began by calling undrafted free agents late Thursday. David said he expects to have the roster finalized by Monday. Texas A&M junior Khris Middleton has declared for the NBA draft. Middleton missed 12 games last season with a knee injury. He averaged 13.2 points and five rebounds in a disappointing 14-18 season for the Aggies which broke a streak of six straight NCAA tournament appearances. The Aggies were preseason favorites to contend with Kansas for the Big 12 title, but a number of injuries, including the one to Middleton contributed to a 4-14 Big 12 record. The Score

Texas A&M junior Khris Middleton is leaving the Aggies and will declare for the NBA draft, a source told CBSSports.com's Jeff Goodman. Middleton, a 6-foot-7 small forward from South Carolina, missed 12 games this past season, including seven of the first eight and another five games in late January and early February. He had surgery on his right knee in November, and tweaked it again during conference play. CBSSports.com
