![]() Kris Humphries is refusing to divorce Kim Kardashian unless she gives him a “public apology” and admits “the entire wedding was staged by her and her family.” Sources tell us Nets star Humphries is holding back on a divorce settlement with the reality raven and even turned down a $7 million offer from her to “shut up and go away.” A friend of Humphries told us, “Kim’s camp is depicting him as money-hungry, but in fact he turned down a $7 million settlement. Her camp is putting out stories about ‘Kim’s divorce hell’ hoping he’ll cave in, but he won’t. New York Post Our source added Kris is particularly keen to disprove Kim and her mother Kris Jenner’s claims that they didn’t profit off the wedding. ![]() Kris Humphries is secretly demanding $7 MILLION from Kim Kardashian to walk away from their marriage ... TMZ has learned. Sources directly connected to Kris tell TMZ ... the bballer -- through his Minnesota lawyer -- has given Kim an ultimatum ... either pay up, or endure an ugly, public trial. TMZ.com For starters, even if there wasn't a prenup, the marriage lasted a grand total of 72 days, so the community property wouldn't be in the universe of $7 mil. Second, there was an iron-clad prenup, which provided that Kim owes Kris zilch. Third, Kris actually MADE MONEY from the marriage. Sources tell us ... Kris raked in around $1 mil from the wedding and the TV special that showcased the nuptials. And Kris made off like a bandit because Kim ended up using a portion of what she got to pay for the ring. A group that calls itself the El Chiriacco Group claims that it is in the final stages of a e-book on college sports recruiting titled, “Kim Kardashian and the Art of Rebounding”. The book will focus on the recruiting of New Jersey Nets power forward, Kris Humphries in 2004, when he was a student- athlete at the University of Minnesota. The group has noted that the book also will highlight basketball agent Marc Cornstein of Pinnacle Management Corp., and the group says that parts of the book will be devoted to Cornstein's ethics and character throughout Humphries' marriage with Kardashian. However, the group has made it clear that Kim Kardashian and her family are not subjects of the book, but associated only by her relationship to Kris Humphries. Sports Agent Blog |

The Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries divorce has become a bitter fight, and we've learned Kris' lawyer intends to put reality TV on trial ... but that could blow up in his face. Sources tell us ... Kris and his lawyer, Lee Hutton, want to "expose the M.O. of reality TV" by proving Kim had no intention of staying married to him, but just wanted big ratings for her reality show. Now here's the irony. The duo wants to prove their point by asking the judge to allow TMZ and TV stations to broadcast the trial -- something that the judge might find a tad hypocritical ... not that we're complaining. What could be better than one Kardashian (if you're into that kind of pop culture craze)? Two Kardashians. That exactly what the American Airlines Center got on Wednesday night as both Khloe and her sister, Kim, showed up for the Mavericks-Phoenix Suns game. Khloe, wife of Mavericks forward Lamar Odom, has been a regular at Dallas games this season, of course. Odom played another solid game for the Mavericks, scoring 15 points and adding five rebounds and two steals in Dallas' 98-89 win over the Suns. Dallas Morning News |

![]() Kris Humphries isnt worried about fending off a defamation lawsuit from Jonathan Cheban . According to a source close to the NBA free agent, Humphries doesn’t expect the high-profile publicist to make good on his threats because he doesn’t have sufficient legal grounds to sue. Earlier this month, RadarOnline reported that Cheban was considering filing a $5 million defamation suit against Humphries for calling him “gay” in an upcoming episode of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.” New York Daily News But our source says Humphries doubts the suit will ever materialize because the basketballplayer was told to make the remark on the “scripted” reality show. “There’s nothing he can sue him for other than following directions from the show’s producers,” says the source. ![]() Here Humphries was on the phone with Yahoo! Sports on Tuesday night, in his first interview since the divorce filing, talking at the end of his daily double session of workouts, trying desperately to talk basketball again. “The same people have seen me here at the gym for seven years, and they know how I come to work and prepare myself for the season,” Humphries said. “I approach my job, my life, in the same way that I’ve always done here. There’s not much different for me. “ … Being in the pop culture [light], and being known by people who don’t follow basketball, maybe some of them don’t realize that basketball has been first to me. I’ve always been putting in the time. That’s my life. That’s what I do.” Yahoo! Sports The tabloid culture has gone into overdrive on Humphries now, but he won’t touch it, won’t play defense on the Kardashians and the vicious personal attacks. “I’d like people to focus on who I am as a person for the work I’ve done with my foundation, for the commitment to the communities that I’ve lived in, the commitment to the teammates that I’ve played basketball with,” he said. “Those are the things that I value, and I’ll let other people talk about the rest.” Yahoo! NBA player Kris Humphries asked a judge Thursday to annul his 10-week, highly publicized marriage to Kim Kardashian on the basis that it was fraudulent. The filing comes roughly a month after Kardashian filed for divorce and apologized to fans. Humphries' petition did not offer any details to support his contention that the marriage was a fraud, which a judge would have to determine is true for the marriage to be completely nullified. ![]() One Western Conference team executive -- stressing his team is not in the market for a power forward -- said he would not reject Humphries because of any fallout from his marriage to Kardashian, who sought a divorce after 72 days. Humphries claimed he was “devastated” by the move, as were those who had 11 weeks in office pools. “Because of our situation, I haven’t given any thought as to what he would be worth,” the exec said anonymously because team officials are forbidden from commenting publicly on any players. “But I don’t think I would let the situation sway me. You hear he’s a good kid, so where I would feel for him is in the heckling he’ll probably get around the league.” New York Post |
