Kim Kardashian and NBA star Kris Humphries not only wed on Saturday night, they managed to earn $17.9 million from the event thanks to some carefully chosen partnerships with E!, People and various other publications and company’s. The black-tie affair which included “swank freebies, photo rights and a TV special” culminates in a 4-hour wedding special called Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event which will air on E!. At the event the Kardashian’s had some A-list guests in attendance including Ryan Seacrest, Eva Longoria and Lindsay Lohan (she’s more of a B-lister these days). The Inquisitr

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are married. Kardashian, wearing an ivory colored custom-designed Vera Wang gown with lace applique bodice and train, said "I do" to her basketball beau at a private estate in Montecito. Humphries wore a white tuxedo with black pants designed by Ermenegildo Zegna according to People, and the pair exchanged rings designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed Kardashian's engagement ring. The revolution will be televised. By revolution, I mean Kris Humphries’ new life with reality sex tape star, Kim Kardashian. HollywoodLife.com is reporting (and using the world’s largest picture while doing that reporting) that Kardashian and Humphries will have their own reality show spinoff of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “Kim and Kris have been filming different parts of their lives, including wedding prep, but their show hinges on Kris’s contract negotiations,” an insider close to the production tells us. “Currently he’s a free agent, but it all depends on what teams he ends up with and their rules for their players and outside commitments.” The Big Lead

The wedding registry for Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries is out, and money is of no object. Among the requested goodies for what's sure to be a no-holds-barred wedding? A $6,500 Tourbillon black vase and a $1,115 Lalique New York-style clock, a source tells People. Even the ice tongs approach haute-couture prices, ringing in at $195. Los Angeles Times

People magazine is paying Kim Kardashian more than $1 million for exclusive coverage of her engagement and wedding, sources told Page Six -- but now the mag's editors are concerned that the public fascination over the curvy beauty may be waning. Kim's surprise engagement to NBA star Kris Humphries graced the cover of People last month, with the mag touting "the incredible proposal -- and the 20.5 carat ring." The weekly paid her $300,000 and has now made a second deal for coverage of the reality star's wedding for just over $1 million. New York Post

The most important question is, did Kim Kardashian influence Kris Humphries decision at all? The decision was to fire Dan Fegan of Lagardère Unlimited who used to be Humphries’ agent. In Fegan’s place is Marc Cornstein of Pinnacle Management. Cornstein is tasked with helping Humphries earn enough money to support himself in case he divorces Kardashian (while doing a Google search on Humphries I found a story that the two are signing a prenuptial agreement). Kardashian has fired off a new demand letter to Lockett, obtained by TMZ, which warns him if he doesn't retract his allegations and cease from making fresh ones, his new position will be defendant on the left side of the courtroom. Lockett went on TMZ Live Wednesday and insisted he did indeed have an online and physical relationship with Kim this year, at the same time she was dating now-fiance Kris Humphries. TMZ.com

Kris Humphries continues to make news and changes this off-season. His latest move won’t get him on the cover of People like he was after proposing to reality star Kim Kardashian a few weeks back. But it will impact Humphries’ professional life and finances. He changed agents Monday from Dan Fegan to Marc Cornstein, who is now responsible for getting Humphries a lucrative contract after his career season with the Nets and after just paying $2 million on Kim’s ring. “We’re obviously really thrilled,” Cornstein said. “He’s a tremendous player and even a better person. He’s the exact kind of player you want to work with. We’re excited for the free agency process to start. I hope it can start July 1 like it typically does. We have to wait and see.” Bergen Record

Cornstein isn’t ready to talk dollars and cents yet because this is his first day as Humphries’ agent and no one really knows what the collective bargaining agreement will allow teams to spend. But Humphries is in a good place. He’s coming of a season in which he averaged 10.0 points and 10.4 rebounds, was the Nets’ best defender and became a fan favorite as well as a favorite of coach Avery Johnson’s. Cornstein said the Nets will have every chance to retain Humphries. Bergen Record

It was a dream come true for Kim Kardashian when she walked into her Beverly Hills home May 18. Her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" "I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview (out Friday) of the romantic, surprise proposal. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now." People

The June issue of GQ magazine is out, which means it’s time for swimsuit coverage. And who better to model these new shorter swimsuits than the NBA player most likely to be photographed by a beach this summer? That’s why Kris Humphries — who is sure to be snapped frolicking in the surf with his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, a minimum of 70 times this offseason — got the call. That’s the power of the Kardashian family marketing machine. Just ask Lamar Odom. Even better, Kris was interviewed for the piece, with his lone published quote being “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” as a response to what people should watch if there’s a lockout next year. Not a joke, that is the extent of the words that came out of his mouth that were quoted in this article. Literally just the name of his girlfriend’s reality television show. That’s it. The Score

'Keeping up with the Kardashians' is ready to come back for its next season, but they will have a new cast member this season. Kim Kardashian's boyfriend Kris Humphries will be joining the cast of the show. Kris is a NBA basketball player for the New Jersey Nets. We are already used to seeing Lamar Odom with Khloe Kardashian on this show and 'Khloe & Lamar' which focuses on their relationship instead of the entire family. Examiner

Given Ochocinco's appeal and influence, advertisers should probably go after him more. He is most associated with Motorola, whose reported $400,000 deal with him included sponsorship of his Twitter page. Although there are many LeBron bashers out there, he did finish the regular season with the most popular jersey in the NBA and his place on this list proves that people still listen and react to him. Mike Vick is obviously a tremendously polarizing figure, so it's amazing to find him up so high on the list. He's currently losing to Peyton Hillis in the Madden cover vote, so he might want to use his Twitter influence to get some more votes. Although Stewart Cink was the golfer who originally pushed Twitter, it's 21-year-old Rory McIlroy leading the golfers. Tiger Woods' sphere of influence doesn't seem to have been affected by his scandal and his lack of winning. Connections to the Kardashians certainly seem to help. Lamar Odom is married to Khloe Kardashian and Reggie Bush was once with Kim Kardashian. NBA players have done some great work on Twitter — as Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash and Dwight Howard are all on this list. CNBC
