Lavoy Allen smells great. That is the only explanation of this NBA fan making this face after appearing to smell Lavoy Allen. When asked if Aldemir was comparable to anyone in the NBA, none of the scouts I talked to could really give an example. I then posed this: "Could he be as good an NBA player as, say, Lavoy Allen?" The Indiana Pacers gave unrestricted free agent Lavoy Allen an early wedding gift by working out a new deal to bring him back to the roster. According to his agent, Allen, a 6-9, 255 pound reserve center, and the team agreed to a contract early Saturday morning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, however the short-term contract should not affect the team's ability to re-sign the top priority, starter Lance Stephenson. The Pacers have already offered Stephenson a five-year, $44 million deal, which has not been accepted as of Saturday. Indianapolis Star

The conversation lasted so long that reporters-on-deadline had to bail without interviewing certain players. I wasn't watching the clock, but understand this: I was able to to pop a squat on C.J. Watson's abandoned seat and hold at least a 10-minute discussion with Lavoy Allen and Evan Turner on such serious topics as Gamble and Huff music and Dr. J's enormous hands. … and by the time we were done, the spontaneous meeting inside the coaches' lounge still had not dismissed.
